Kid Lab is a learning lab that offers kids (and their grownups) opportunities to fuel their curiosity by tinkering, making art and learning through creative play.

In 2023, we purchased a 12 foot trailer and began outfitting it to be Kid Lab on wheels! When you see the Kid Lab trailer around town, you KNOW it means fun (and of course, lots of creative mischief).

We are passionate about designing playful art activities that spark a love of learning and creativity! We’ve been building a big archive of resources so that you can jump in and have the Kid Lab experience anytime, anywhere.

Did you know we work with schools and partner organizations to bring the Kid Lab experience to kids all over the Triangle area? We’re a team of passionate artists with over 30 years collective experience in teaching art and STEM, designing age-level programs, creating family-friendly public art installations, and event organizing.
