At the heart of every Kid Lab event is our open-ended makerspace experience. Children can rotate through interactive, hands-on stations such as:
Watercolor Painting – paint us a masterpiece or learn some new techniques from Susan (a professional watercolorist!)
Cardboard Creations – transform cardboard into inventions and kinetic sculptures (ask Shannon to show you her favorite tool - electric scissors!)
Fashion Designer – create wearable art with fabric and embellishments
Puppet Design – design some puppets and try them out on our mini Kid Lab TV!
Recycled Treasures – tinker, build, and imagine using found materials
Every event is tailored to the audience and atmosphere, and we can work with you to adjust activities based on your theme, space, and timeframe.

Looking to make your event extra memorable? For an additional fee, Kid Lab can provide:
Custom Coloring / Activity Sheets (branded or themed for your event)
Special Themed Crafts (ex. holiday, seasonal, or story-based)
Giant Interactive “Coloring Book” on the backside of the trailer

Every booking includes flexible setup options. By request, we can provide:
Folding tables & 16 stools
12' x 12' festival pop-up tent
Safety cones & yard signage
Lanterns, string lights, and light poles (requires outlet access)
Yard games (add-on fee)
PROGRAMS + partnerships
Beyond one-time events, Kid Lab can also work with you to design longer programs such as:
Kids Camps (single-day or multi-day)
Workshops tied to a specific theme (STEAM, art, storytelling, nature, etc.)
Custom Pop-Ups for schools, churches, preschools, or neighborhood gatherings

GOOD TO KNOW
Kid Lab is a stand-alone 12-foot trailer, fully outfitted with creative supplies and materials.
Please note:
We do not provide electricity, running water, or bathroom facilities.
If your event requires power (for lights, fans, or other add-ons), we ask that you provide outlet access and extension cords.
All activities are supervised by our trained team to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for kids and families.
