Ocean Theme {FREE} Printables
March is almost here and our new theme is …OCEAN DEEP. We’ll be taking a deep dive into the ocean with all kinds of play-based activities this month! Choose your own deep-sea adventure when you sign up for our Play Labs: March 4, 12, 18, and 26 from 10-11 a.m. Come explore the warm waters of the coral reef, build a deep-sea submarine, sort seashells, discover ocean layers, and create interactive fish puppets.
In true Kid Lab fashion, our team is busy prepping the lab, creating an interactive window display, underwater sensory bins, fishing games, and STEM activities. You won’t want to miss this! We're kicking off our ocean theme with the Winter Seafood Jubilee at Transfer Co. Food Hall on Sunday, March 1. Presented by Locals Oyster Bar and hosted by Transfer, this will be a fun family-friendly event with good food, opportunities to learn about NC seafood, and playful learning activities and games from Kid Lab. Locals Oyster Bar will be steaming oysters and frying fish from 12-4 p.m. Plus, they’ve invited fishermen and women, oyster farmers, and seafood advocates to answer your questions about NC seafood. This is a kid-friendly event, no tickets needed.
